Petit Auto Wash has issued a Technical Service Bulletin Recall regarding the rail mounting brackets on Accutrac 360 in-bay and tunnel machines.

The rail mounting brackets connect the main rails to the vertical support legs and carry the weight of the machine. While the original brackets met the design requirements when they were developed, newer computer modeling has shown that the original design falls just outside Petit’s specification for infinite fatigue life.

As a result, Petit has developed a new heavy-duty rail mounting bracket and is providing replacement brackets free of charge to owners of affected machines. Petit recommends contacting your local authorized service provider (ASP) to inspect and replace the old-style brackets as soon as possible.
