Wild Blue Car Wash and Marshall Football Association Raise More Than $2,500 for Local Student Athletes
MARSHALL, Mo. – Wild Blue Car Wash’s Marshall location, located at 816 W. College St., Marshall, MO 65340, partnered with the Marshall Football Association on July 18 for another successful Charity Wash, raising more than $2,500 to support the Marshall Owls football program and its student-athletes.
During the fundraiser, 50% of all car wash sales were donated to the Marshall Football Association. Volunteers from the organization also helped dry vehicles, vacuum interiors, and accepted additional donations throughout the event, creating even more opportunities for the community to support local student-athletes.
The funds raised will help provide nutritious meals before and after games and ensure players have the hydration they need to stay healthy, energized, and ready to compete throughout the season.
“Our primary initiative is to ensure every player has a nutritious, healthy meal before and after every game and has the hydration our athletes need to stay strong, safe and energized all season long,” said Ashley Boock, Vice President of the Marshall Football Association. “Our motto is, ‘One Town, One Team, Full Plates, Culture = Greatness.’ We’re incredibly thankful to Wild Blue Car Wash and everyone in the community who came out to support our players.”
Wild Blue Car Wash’s Charity Wash program gives local schools, youth organizations, nonprofits, and community groups an opportunity to raise funds while building stronger connections with the communities they serve.
